Design our anniversary bus

Five years ago, we started drawing lines across the UK. Not just routes, but connections between cities, people, and moments that turn into stories. Since then, those lines have grown into millions of journeys across the country.

To celebrate, we’re handing over the canvas.

Studying art, design or illustration? This is your chance to bring your creativity to life. Design our anniversary bus and see your work travel across the UK for a full year, turning your idea into something people experience in real life.

The winner will be awarded:

• a £2,000 cash prize,
• a year of free travel,
• and will see their design brought to life on a bus travelling across the UK.

Additional prizes will also be awarded to standout entries. Submissions will be reviewed by a panel of judges, who will select the top entries. These finalists will then go to a public vote, where the design with the most votes will be crowned the winner.

The deadline to submit your artwork is midnight on 25 April 2026.
