Berrys Coaches strengthens long-standing partnership with FlixBus
FlixBus and long-term partner Berrys Coaches are celebrating the growth of their partnership in 2026.
Having joined the FlixBus network in April 2022, Somerset-based family business Berrys has been a cornerstone partner for the global coach brand in the UK.
The growth will bring more FlixBus services on routes between Taunton, Bristol, Birmingham, Sheffield, Leeds and Newcastle
Established in 1920 and headquartered in Taunton, Berrys will bring four brand new Yutong GT12s to its FlixBus operation, with two replacing vehicles currently on the network.
Andreas Schorling, Vice President of West Europe for FlixBus, said: “Berrys Coaches has been a dedicated partner and top-quality operator for FlixBus since 2022.
“When we launched, Berrys was one of the first operators to come on board, and this latest growth highlights how dedicated we are to building relationships that last.”
An employee-owned company as of November last year, Berrys has been transporting local schools and groups since 1920 as well as providing express services to London.
James Berry, Managing Director at Berrys Coaches, said: “Our partnership with FlixBus is a proud part of our long history in the coach industry, and was a key strategic move for us to join the brand in its early stages in the UK
“Our relationship has gone from strength to strength, and we are excited to be expanding our fleet and routes as FlixBus continues on its journey to market leadership.”
FlixBus is nearing its 5th anniversary in the UK, with more than 200 vehicles on the road and carrying millions of passengers since launch.
“We have proven that coach is a compelling option and the smarter choice for travel in the UK. Passengers love FlixBus and we’re growing our network to meet the demand,” added Schorling.
