The Reichstag, opposite the Federal Chancellery, is a building noted for its unique glass architecture. Continuing your sightseeing tour in the southern direction will take you to Potsdamer Platz - you may be able to spot the American Embassy and the Holocaust Memorial on the way. Across from here is the zoo, where you can relax in one of the large meadows or in one of the zoo's many cafés.
