Each FlixBus has plenty of space for your luggage. In order for your trip to be as pleasant and safe as possible we ask you to read the following points carefully.

For safety reasons it is important that your hand luggage can be stowed in the overhead compartments above your seat, so that escape routes are kept free. Please ensure that all of your luggage is labelled with your name and address to avoid any confusion. Our friendly drivers are more than happy to help you load your luggage into the luggage compartments.
The additional luggage should not exceed the dimensions and the weight of the standard luggage allowance. A fee is charged for this service. The fee for additional luggage depends on the method of booking. The booking can either be done online during the booking process or by telephone after the booking process. If a piece of luggage is registered by telephone with customer service, the fee is to be paid to the bus driver. In general, we cannot guarantee that there will be enough space for more than one luggage item on board.
You must pay a fee for a piece of luggage larger than your standard luggage allowance. This luggage item may not exceed the dimensions (height in cm + width in cm + depth in cm) of 240 cm (94.5 in) or a weight of 30 kg (66.1 lbs). Furthermore, special luggage must either be indicated during booking (provided this is possible for the trip) or after booking by calling customer service at the earliest 48 hours before bus departure*. Only one item of special luggage may be taken on board per person. There is no guarantee of space. Special luggage includes, for example: skis and musical instruments (we recommend transporting these in a hard shell case). Special rules apply to bicycles and orthopedic aids. Certain items cannot be transported.

Many of our buses allow you to transport a bicycle of a standard size and without superstructures (max. weight of 20 kg). These can be added to your trip during the booking process for an extra fee per item. You can select the number of bicycles that you would like to take transport when you select the number of passengers during booking.
Carriage is on bicycle carriers. In special cases, carriage is possible in the luggage compartment in suitable bags (e.g. folding bike). In such a case, you must call customer service in advance to register the bicycle (see regulations for special luggage).
E-bikes, pedelecs, tandems and tricycles cannot be transported on a bike rack.
Pushchairs, wheelchairs and walking aids are transported on some of our buses for free. Wheelchairs and walking aids must be registered with us over the telephone at the latest 36 hours before your departure*. Pushchairs are considered as special luggage and must be registered with us over the telephone no earlier than 48 hours before your departure*.
Please note that due to safety reasons, wheelchairs can only be taken along if they are foldable and without an electric device.
Musical instruments that do not exceed the hand luggage weight and dimensions (42 x 30 x 18 cm, max. 7kg) can be taken on board free of charge in your overhead compartment instead of regular hand luggage. You may store either your hand luggage or your musical instrument in the overhead compartments.
Musical instruments that are larger than the hand luggage measurements (42 x 30 x 18 cm, max. 7kg) are considered special luggage and must be transported in the trunk of the bus in the appropriate transportation case. We recommend a hard case to avoid any damage. In this case, you will be charged an additional fee on your booking for each item, which must be registered no earlier than 48 hours before your departure time by telephone with our customer service team*.
Musical instruments and their cases that are larger than 135x48 x35cm may not be transported on our coaches (e.g. double basses).
