After your bus trip & support

We recommend labelling your luggage clearly with your name and contact details to avoid any mix-ups.

If your bus is cancelled or significantly delayed and FlixBus is responsible, you may be entitled to a free rebooking or a refund. As a passenger, you also have rights under EU Regulation No. 181/2011, including the right to information, assistance, and, in some cases, compensation.

Tips for your bus trip

If you have a long journey ahead, here are some additional tips to help you have a great coach trip.

Save your ticket to the FlixBus app or take a screenshot, so you don’t have to worry about losing signal at the bus stop.

If you have a long journey ahead, download films, podcasts or playlists before you board. Even though Wi-Fi is available on most coaches, having content offline means you won’t have interruptions along the way.

You'll be sitting for a while, so prioritise a comfortable outfit. Loose layers work best, especially on overnight trips.

Coach temperatures can vary. Bring a light jacket or a jumper to easily add an extra layer if the coach gets chilly.

Especially useful on longer or overnight journeys, they make a big difference if you want to sleep or block out noise.

Keep your phone, wallet and documents in a bag you can keep with you at your seat rather than in the luggage hold.

Travelling through the UK or into Europe? Reserve your seat in advance and pick a window spot to make the most of the scenery.

Stock up before you travel and check your itinerary to see where the rest stops are so you can plan ahead.
