About Mannheim

The strict quadratic orientation of many streets in the historic center of Mannheim is unique in Germany. The historic castle, which served as a seat for the Electors of the Palatinate for many decades, should not be missed when you make a sightseeing tour in Mannheim. Inside the castle you can learn all about the history and culture of the region and then you can relax outside in the castle park which lies next to the River Rhine. The SAP arena is one of the largest event halls in south west Germany and is located in Mannheim.
